Students explore a variety of movement challenges to develop important fundamental movement skills. Throughout the program, students are taught to effectively: catch, kick, throw, hit, run, jump, dodge, hop, bounce & balance as per 2020 PDHPE Syllabus requirements.
Stage Specific Progressions

Athletics
Students learn the technique necessary to confidently and competently participate at the school carnival. This program is conducted in both competitive & non-competitive environments ensuring all students enjoy a positive experience. Students delve into events such as: High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Relays, Hurdles, Javelin & Sprints.

Team Building
Important 'Social Skills' are developed through a variety of innovative co-operative focused activities. Students work within groups to solve various movement challenges. This program teaches students playground conflict resolution strategies as well as focusing in key areas such as: Communication, Resilience and Leadership.

Gymnastics
The Play On Gymnastics program aims to develop student flexibility, agility, balance, power, co-ordination and control. Each week students utilise a large range of specialised gymnastics equipment to progress their confidence and skill.
Sporting School Funding

Multi-Sport
Participation & exploration of a variety of sports is the focus of the Play On Multi-Sport program. Students utilise an immense supply of equipment and delve into sports such as: Archery, Golf, Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Oztag and more.
Extensive Equipment Differentiation

Dance
The Play On Dance program improves student rhythm, co-ordination, skill and confidence. Students create and explore movement challenges in preparation to participate in creative performances before their peers & external audiences.
